Often called “raspberry quartz” by the lapidary world, this is actually hematoid quartzite if you’re a nerd like me. Ideally there would be a medium size too, but this particular stone was not big enough to cut another. So small and large it is! Hand mined, ethically sourced and of course hand carved and polished by me.
