These fossils are most often found made entirely of grayish limestone. To have the coral structure intact nonetheless being filled with crystals is extremely rare. This location is known for a mixture of aragonite, quartz, calcite, and barite. It is likely that individual segments of this specimen are made of a mixture of these throughout.
